Parking spaces available

If you come by car, you'll find free parking for customers available to you. With us, you can expect a wheelchair accessible entrance and interior. You're always welcome, we don't do reservations so just come around for a great evening. We're also happy to prepare your order to go, so you can enjoy it at home. We're closed on Sundays, but the rest of the week we're happy to serve you.

Sobre A Badalhoca

"É mítica, histórica e impossível de contornar. A Badalhoca é uma das tascas mais emblemáticas da cidade. A comandar as tropas está, desde 1965, a dona Maria de Lurdes Guedes, boavisteira de coração - aliás, basta olhar para as paredes da casa.

Chegou à tasca com 17 anos, foi aprendendo a cozinhar com o tempo e, quase sem querer, fez nascer as famosas sandes de presunto. Num dia normal saem da cozinha 500 sandes. O pão vem da padaria do outro lado da rua, a Padaria Lua de Mel. O presunto, esse, chega de Castelo Branco.

À hora de almoço têm sempre sempre a casa cheia e os clientes não se ficam pelas sandes de pernil: também há de omelete e de fígado, por exemplo. A acompanhar há sempre Espadal fresco, verde, branco ou maduro tinto."
